Data set processing and mobile application development are among the most rapidly-developing sub-fields of computer science, focusing on new devices and applications. On the one hand, they offer great quality-of-life solutions for users, but on the other hand, the short roll out times pose a challenge from the point of view of security.
We have been researching sensor networks, IoT and mobile applications for more than ten years now, participating in national and international research projects, some of them financed by the European Union and NATO. We have developed many solutions during that time, including tools for locating devices, network simulations and mobile applications for rescue missions.
Data collected from heterogeneous networks are a natural target for big data analyses, which are yet another field of study where we work with the international community on projects which are part of the Horizon 2020 EU programme.
