The Corporate Token service enables clients to quickly and easily implement strong authentication mechanisms, ensuring the best electronic communication security.
Definition
OTP Token (One-Time Password) – a software or hardware token generating secure, single-use passwords which guarantee that only authorised users can gain access to critical applications and data. OTP-based strong authentication systems are, along with transmission protection, the most effective electronic communication security measures, guaranteeing secure online communication and control of access to remote online resources.
Service description:
Corporate Token enables clients to quickly and easily implement strong authentication mechanisms which ensure secure access to corporate resources, without having to implement an authentication server in your infrastructure.
How it works:
The service comprises the configuration of remote access to your systems to include strong authentication mechanisms, whereby providing users with OTP tokens manufactured by RSA. These display a series of digits every sixty seconds which serve as a dynamic, single-use identifier valid only during that sixty-second window. The random number generation and authentication server connection utilises a time synchronisation mechanism.
When starting a session subject to authentication, users registered in the database provide their PIN and token numbers after entering their ID, which results in the creation of a single-use passcode. Entering the correct passcode starts the procedure of user acceptance by our authentication server.
Benefits:
The Corporate Token service enables:
- Remote user connection authentication
- Incoming external VPN connection authentication
- Corporate network traffic authentication
- Protection of sensitive data stored in internal and external networks
- Restricted access to important applications
- Network admin settings manipulation prevention
