Due to the nature of DDoS attacks, classic defence measures are incapable of differentiating between them and regular network traffic. As a result, security systems such as NGFW or IPS offer no protection, which is why it is recommended to use specialised mechanisms implemented as far away as possible from the point where your LAN meets the outside world.

How it works:
