At the end of the second quarter of 2021 in the .pl domain registry there were 2 500 710 active domain names, i.e. by 4 492 more than in the previous quarter. In the discussed period 172 756 new names were registered. Almost 84% of registrations were made by registrants domiciled in Poland. The total number of registrants amounted to 1 103 039.
The growth trend in the number of renewals was maintained - the rate amounted to 72.23% and was by 0.94 p.p. higher than in the previous quarter.
At the end of June, in the .pl domain registry, there were 437 351 domain names secured with DNSSEC - the highest number since 12 months. In comparison to the previous quarter, there were 15 607 more of them.
