Professor Marek Amanowicz PhD
Professor Marek Amanowicz graduated from the Military University of Technology. In 2001 he obtained professor’s title. He had taken several posts at the university, including dean of the faculty, deputy rector for R&D. He was the vice chairman of the Polish National Committee of the International Union of Radio Science (URSI) as well as the principal national member of the Information Systems Technology Panel of the NATO Science and Technology Organization, including the position of the Panel vice-chair. He had worked at TAC ONE international company in Paris as verification and validation manager of the NATO standard. He is the elected member of the Committee of Electronics and Telecommunications of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
He was the leader of many national and international research projects in the field of systems engineering, mobile communications and modelling and simulation. His current research interests are focused on information assurance and cyber defence. He is the author or co-author of over 200 papers published in scientific journals or presented at national and international scientific conferences.
