Professor Ewa Niewiadomska-Szynkiewicz PhD, NASK Deputy Director, Director for Research
A graduate of the Faculty of Electronics at the Warsaw University of Technology, where she earned her PhD and post-doctoral degrees in the discipline of automation and robotics. In 2017 she received the scientific title of the Full Professorship. An academic at the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology of the Warsaw University of Technology, currently at the position of a professor. Head of the Complex Systems Group. Member of the Scientific Discipline Board for Information and Communication Technology at the Warsaw University of Technology.
In 1999-2001 employee of Knowledge Support Systems Group plc., UK. In 2010-2016 an expert of the Polish Accreditation Commission operating within the higher education system. Since 2012 a member of the Committee on Automation and Robotics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Member of the Council of the Foundation for the Promotion of Science Systems.
Head of national and international research teams, manager and contractor of more than 50 scientific and research projects financed by Polish and foreign government agencies as well as studies carried out as part of cooperation between scientific and industrial units.
